Product Features
Premium Clay: Made from non-toxic, high-temperature fired clay that is completely inert and safe for all freshwater inhabitants.
Ideal Spawning Ground: The slightly textured surface is perfect for egg adhesion, making it a favorite for Plecos (especially Bristlenose), Cichlids, and Catfish.
Natural Bio-Filter: The porous nature of the terracotta promotes the growth of beneficial nitrifying bacteria, contributing to overall tank health and water stability.
Safe Harbor for Shrimp: Provides a dark, secluded refuge for dwarf shrimp and fry to hide from larger predators, significantly increasing survival rates.
Seamless Integration: The earthy, natural finish blends beautifully into planted tanks or biotope setups. You can also easily attach Java Moss or Anubias to the surface for a more realistic look.

Care & Usage Instructions
Prep: Before placing it in your aquarium, rinse the cave under running tap water for a few seconds to remove any dust.
Placement: Position the cave in a low-flow or shaded area of the tank if you are using it for breeding nocturnal species like Plecos.
Customization: Use aquarium-safe glue or fishing line to attach moss to the top of the cave for a “hidden” look.
Why Terracotta? Unlike plastic decorations, terracotta is porous. This allows it to hold a small amount of water and minerals, mimicking the natural riverbeds where many tropical fish species originate.
