Key Features
Multi-Compartment Design: It is divided into three separate sections. This allows you to house multiple fish or sets of fry simultaneously without them interacting.
Hanging Brackets: The integrated acrylic hooks at the top left and right corners are designed to mount securely over the glass rim of a main aquarium tank.
Perforated Blue Base & Slotted Walls: The sides and bottom feature numerous vertical ventilation slots and small holes. This ensures continuous water circulation between the main aquarium and the isolation box, keeping the water chemistry and temperature identical for the isolated fish.
Top Lids with Star Handles: Each compartment has its own lid featuring a star-shaped cutout handle. This prevents fish from jumping out while making it easy to open individual sections for feeding or maintenance.
Common Uses
Fish Breeding & Fry Protection: It is highly popular for live-bearing fish (like guppies, mollies, or platies). Pregnant fish can be placed inside, and once they give birth, the newborns (fry) can be safely kept away from hungry adult fish in the main tank.
Acclimation: It serves as a safe zone for introducing new, small, or sensitive fish to a tank, letting them get used to the water and tank mates without being attacked.
Isolation of Injured or Aggressive Fish: It can be used to separate a sick or injured fish while it heals, or to temporarily contain an aggressive fish that is bullying others.
