Through constant branching, this moss forms broad, triangular “fronds” that grow horizontally to slightly pendant. In low light, long shoots can develop that are densely covered with fairly short branches.
This Vesicularia grows well on roots and stones and is therefore ideal for the greening of hardscape. It has no special requirements, but it does splendidly with a low CO2 concentration and regular fertilization with micro and macronutrients. Good lighting encourages dense branching.
