Directions & Usage Guidelines

• Before treatment: remove activated carbon and UV sterilizers — they may neutralise the product’s active ingredients.
• Typical dosage (follow label): for example, initial dose per volume of water; reduce or split dose if you have sensitive livestock. Avoid overdosing.
• Do not feed shrimp for 24 hrs before and during treatment to reduce organic load and improve effectiveness.
• Ensure good aeration and oxygen levels during treatment, as decomposition of pests can temporarily affect water parameters.
• After 72 hours (or as per package instruction) perform a partial water change (e.g. 25–50%) and optionally resume carbon filtration to clear residual treatment.
• Manually remove any dead pests to avoid ammonia spikes, especially in shrimp or plant tanks.

Important Precautions & Notes

• Although marketed as “shrimp-safe”, the active betel-nut extract may still stress or harm shrimp — results vary by species and tank conditions. Monitor inhabitants carefully during and after treatment.
• Some snail species may be sensitive or die off — it’s recommended to relocate snails before treatment.
• Decomposing planaria/hydra after treatment can lead to ammonia or nitrate spikes — ensure proper water changes and filtration.
• Use only as needed — repeated or unnecessary treatments may disturb your tank’s ecological balance. Monitor water parameters closely.
